The Trane BAYSTAT152A is a 3-Heat/2-Cool Thermostat featuring a touch screen LCD display. The temperature display ranges from -45°F to 199°F (-42.8°C to 92.8°C). There are five system modes you can select: Heat, Cool, Auto, Off, and Emergency Heat. For Heat mode, you can set it from 40°F to 90°F (4.5°C to 32°C) while in Cool mode it has a setpoint range of 50°F to 99°F (10°C to 37°C).

Another great feature of the Thermostat is the programmed multiple scheduling options you can choose. This gives you convenience for you don't have to manually set the unit every day. The BAYSTAT152A is inclusive of an internal humidity sensor and a remote humidity sensor can be added such as the Wall Mount BASYSENS036A (X1379044401, SEN1561) or Duct Mount X1379044501. Take note that the remote humidity sensor must be a 4–20 mA, 24 Vdc type.

The Thermostat also consists of terminals for a remote temperature sensor. The compatible 10K type 2 sensors are Zone Temperature Sensor BAYSENS077A (X1351152801, SEN1448) or Duct Temperature Sensor BAYSTAT170A (41901133, SEN1287).
