The Conbraco 4ALF-20A-02 (40-20A-02) is a 4” reduced pressure backflow preventer with an NRS gate valve. This has a maximum operating pressure of 175 psi and a temperature range of 33-140°F. UL, ULC Classified, and FM Approved.
The backflow preventer provides maximum protection against the backflow of hazardous fluids by back-pressure or back-siphonage contaminating the water supply. It consists of two independent check valves with a differential pressure relief valve supplying water downstream during normal flow conditions.
The 40-20A-02 can be maintained easily without using any special tools.
