The Baso H19RA-2 is a high-pressure automatic shutoff pilot gas valve without a flow interrupter. This device has a 3/8” NPT connection and a 1/8” pilot tap on the right. UL and CSA Listed.

The pilot gas valve provides safe lighting and 100% shutoff once the thermocouple is extinguished. This device holds a maximum pressure of 25 psi and a maximum capacity of 600,000 btu.

The H19 Series is designed for commercial and industrial applications such as heaters or crop dryers. It is suitable for natural and liquefied petroleum (LP) gas.

hi, I am plannign to purchase BASO high pressure shut-off valve and need a recommendation on a compatible thermocouple and pilot light bracket assembley (tubes of 24" long would be sufficient). Please advise on what products would work. Thanks. Ed

As there are so many in field variables and options available that affect operation and safety, we do not make products recommendations. We always suggest consulting a local and licensed HVAC/R professional that is experienced in your application, who can make recommendation suited directly to your application and in accordance with local safety regulations, codes and standards in line with the Authority Having Jurisdiction.

In your case, according to the BASO H19RA-2 Product Bulletin (click here to view), BASO suggests using a BASO K15, K16, or K19 series thermocouple; which can be found by clicking here.

Regarding the pilot. There are simply too many option and variables and according to the BASO documentation for this valve, there is NOT a recommend pilot bracket assembly to use. As such, we suggest that your licensed professional review the application and assist you in selecting the appropriate pilot assembly for your application. Please note, BASO clearly states on their documentation that "Only qualified personnel should install or service BASO® Gas Products products. These instructions are a guide for such personnel."
