The Fireye UV2 Series is an ultraviolet flame scanner with a 3/8” NPT connection and 36” (915mm) shielded lead. The scanner has an operating voltage of 560 VAC at 120V (230V), 50/60 Hz.  Also, it comes with a 96" flexible cable that connects the scanner to the control.
 
The UV2 scanner is used on Fireye Flame Safeguard and Burner Management Controls for flame detection from waste gases, fuel gases, light oil (ex. No.2 oil), and heavy oils.  The UV scanner together with the associated amplifier module is considered a non-self-checking UV system on which it should be only applied to burners that cycle often to be able for the safety checking circuit to be exercised.  

When installing, the UV2 can be wired with either red or black wire (18 AWG) to S1 or S2 terminal of Fireye flame safeguard control.
